Vocal/Reading Auditions for Guys and Dolls

Plan to attend the Kick-Off Meeting, which will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 2312 Concord Pike, Wilmington. It's a great time to meet the directing team, learn about the audition process, sign up for committees, and find out about scheduling an audition.

If you are new to the Brandywiners, you must pass a vocal audition to be eligible to sing in the chorus. To be eligible for a principal role, you will be required to schedule an audition. You must be 16 years of age by June 1, 2010 to participate in the summer 2010 production of Guys and Dolls.

Auditions for principals and chorus will be scheduled for the weekend of April 9–11, 2010. No auditions will be scheduled prior to the spring Kick-Off meeting. Auditions will be held by appointment only.

Rehearsal Schedule for Guys and Dolls

The first chorus rehearsal will take place on May 18, 2010, with regular rehearsals on Tuesday and Thursday evenings until two weeks before the show. At that time, rehearsals will be moved to Longwood Gardens and be scheduled every night. A detailed rehearsal schedule will be made available at the Kick-Off Meeting in March.

Committees for the 2010 production 

Everyone is welcome to participate in the Brandywiners' productions. Contact The Brandywiners to express interest in serving on one of the committees. Every show provides many opportunities to get involved, including:
