If you are new to the Brandywiners, you must pass a vocal audition to be eligible to sing in the chorus. To be considered for a principal or chorus role, you must schedule an audition. Download the complete Audition Information for Women or Audition Information for Men.

Note: You must be 16 years of age by June 1, 2010 to participate in the summer 2010 production of Guys and Dolls.

Auditions for principals and chorus will be held on the weekend of April 9–11, 2010, at the Downs Cultural Center, Ingleside Homes, Inc., 1005 N. Franklin Street, Wilmington, DE (map). To schedule an audition, contact Eva Taylor at (302) 655-2160.

Dance Auditions for Guys and Dolls

Auditions for dancers will be held on April 10 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 2313 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE (map). Download the complete Dance Audition Requirements.

Female dancers must also schedule a singing appointment with Eva Taylor, (302) 655-2160.

Make-up auditions (for chorus parts only) will be held on Tuesday, June 1 at 6:45 p.m., prior to the evening's rehearsal. All principal roles will be cast from the April auditions.

Rehearsal Schedule for Guys and Dolls

The first rehearsal for principals will take place on May 18, and the first chorus rehearsal will take place on May 25, 2010, with regular rehearsals on Tuesday and Thursday evenings until two weeks before the show. At that time, rehearsals will be moved to Longwood Gardens and be scheduled every night. Download the complete Rehearsal Calendar.
