The Brandywiners have had a longstanding relationship with Longwood Gardens. With the exception of four years during World War II, performances have been held outdoors at Open Air Theatre in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. The 1942 show was performed at the Wilmington Playhouse. Shows from 1943–1945 were performed at the Wilmington Drama League.
